No HOA authority or decision-making power is used for personal financial benefit. No resident is required or pressured to purchase advertising or services. Independent Business Operations Any private business operated by John M Jones III shall remain fully independent from HOA operations, governance, funding, and decision-making activities. 2. No HOA Endorsement My Private businesses shall not represent itself as being officially endorsed, sponsored, approved, or affiliated with the HOA unless expressly authorized in writing by the Board. 3. Separate Finances All revenues, advertising payments, expenses, and financial accounts associated with my business activities shall remain completely separate from HOA accounts and HOA funds. 4. No Use of HOA Resources My businesses shall not utilize HOA resources for commercial purposes without prior authorization, including but not limited to: HOA mailing lists HOA funds HOA equipment Official HOA communication channels HOA logos or branding 5. Voluntary Participation Residents and businesses shall not be pressured, directly or indirectly, to purchase advertising, services, sponsorships, or products from my business or other business associated with an HOA officer or committee member. 6. Disclosure and Recusal I shall disclose the existence of the my private business relationship to the Board and shall recuse myself from any votes or decisions directly affecting my business interests. 7. Equal Treatment No advertiser, resident, or business participant shall receive preferential treatment regarding HOA matters due to participation in business advertising or services. 8. Preservation of Community Trust All parties shall act in a manner that preserves transparency, fairness, ethical conduct, and community confidence in HOA governance.
